How to celebrate Valentine's Day amidst Restrictions and Social Distancing

'Winds in the east, mist coming in, like somethin' is brewing and about to begin'. Can you feel it? Is there something in the air? No, it is not Mary Poppins, it is love. We are getting close to Valentine's Day 2021. How can you celebrate Valentine's Day amidst restrictions and social distancing? Here are some tips and tricks.

Valentine's Day 2021 - Explore your Backyard

On Valentine's Day, my other half and I would go overseas or interstate. We cannot do so this year. There are plenty of things we can do. We can explore our backyard, go to regional towns, and explore our own city. We can visit art galleries or go hiking in the bush.

We can have a picnic - pack a picnic hamper, put some shrimp on the barbie and we are set for Valentine's Day 2021. The trick is to indulge in simple pleasures of life, like walking  up the pier and watching  the sunset together.

Working with Travel Videos and Photo Collages

Make a medley of your best travel video. Stitch your travel videos together. Upload it on YouTube as a private video.
Make a collage of your travel photos. Put it on canvas. Rekindle memories on Valentine's Day.

Multiplex at Home or Breakfast in Bed

Create the multiplex experience at home with popcorn, a glass of bubbly and your favorite Valentine's Day movie.
Be St Valentine's secret helper. Tidy up the house before she wakes up. Serve breakfast in bed - her favorite brew, a Valentine's Day card and a little something. Do not forget a plate of freshly baked croissants.

Replace Flowers with Floral Plants

If we are talking fresh flowers, I do not get flowers. I get something even better. I get rose plants that create lasting memories.
